Tandra Hunter, LMSW/MHP

Tandra Hunter, LMSW/MPH received a dual Master’s in Social Work/Master’s in Public Health from the University of South Carolina in 2009. She is an Army veteran, specializing in working with military and veteran families.

Tandra has over twelve years of experience providing outpatient therapy services to Individuals, Couples, Families, and Coroporations.

Tandra enjoys working with couples and individuals through life's transitions. Her goal is to empower clients to learn how to implement appropriate tools for the improvement of their lives. Tandra has the ability to inspire hope in her clients. She believes one of the most important aspects of therapy is for individuals to feel they are safe and able to establish trust.

Tandra has completed training in several evidenced based practices, and uses many different types of therapeutic interventions and trainings, including: Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Anger Management Training, Suicide Prevention Skills Training, and Resilience Skills Training.

Tandra’s areas of experience and expertise include: self-harm/suicide prevention, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, difficult life transitions, anger management, conflict resolution, and familial relationship issues.
